It's been a while since my last post and I wish to apologise for taking so long. So much has happened since then that it would take me an entire week to write everything.
It was heartwarming to witness the feelings of a nation when the World 110m hurdles Champion came home on Thursday September 17. I was amazed that the island came to a complete shutdown to show our own Ryan.M.Brathwaite that he was appreciated for what he had done.
As a club we showed him this evening ( September 29) that we too acknowledged his performance with a "mini" social in his honour. This allowed the younger members and the new-comers a chance to see a sporting celebrity up close and in the flesh. Seeing the faces on these future "STARS" made the effort worth it. Thanks Ryan!!
I would like to personally welcome back Ricardo Todd to our family. The talent that he had shown as a junior is still evident and with time,he'll be the champion hurdler we knew he would be.
